45th Annual Figawi Race WeekendFigawi

The 45th Annual Figawi Race Weekend is recognized as a top sailing event not only on the east coast but is known nationally as well as internationally. Figawi Race Weekend kicks off the the Cape Cod and Nantucket summer season. Entries include sailors from several states 240+ boats (including 30 power boats) and over 3,000 sailors and visitors, as well as locals, attend this event.

Every Wednesday night through August the Falmouth Village Association plays a movie on a projector at dusk in Falmouth’s beautiful Peg Noonan Park.  Enjoy new movies like The Box Trolls as well as favorite classics like The Princess Bride. It’s the perfect excuse to cozy up under the stars and breathe some fresh air. Nobska&moonThe holidays truly are the most wonderful time of the year in Falmouth, pharm Cape Cod.  Our village main street and its numerous shops, sickness restaurants and bed and breakfast inns, are decked out in full holiday splendor.  Much of the activity centers around  the annual Holidays-by-the-Sea weekend December 5-7.  The weekend kicks off with caroling at Nobska Lighthouse on Friday evening.  Santa’s arrival by boat at the Falmouth harbor is always a delight as is the lighting of the Village Green on Saturday evening.  The biggest event of the weekend takes place on Sunday as the biggest Christmas parade in southeastern Massachusetts kicks off at noon.  There is something for everyone in this beautiful seaside village. We invite you to celebrate the holiday season in Falmouth, our traditional New England town.

October 4-6: ‘Jazz Fest Falmouth’ – join our talented musicians during their evening stroll as they entertain you while wandering along Main Street deciding which wonderful restaurant you should enjoy! October 12: ‘Bourne Farm Day’ – Come pick your very own pumpkin, pony rides, hayrides, kayaks and paddle boats in the pond. October 27-28: Cape Cod Marathon – They come from everywhere – sneakers slung over their shoulders, backpacks, water bottles and – most importantly – a lot of wonderful energy!! Falmouth B&B Association eagerly await their fall visitors. You can be assured that there will be lots of apple and cranberry delicacies on their breakfast menu while each individual innkeeper boasts the most delicious pumpkin bread. You will just have to come on down and find out for yourselves!!
