Best Cape Cod July 4th Fireworks

The best Cape Cod July 4th fireworks are in Falmouth if you ask around. In fact, Travel and Leisure Magazine named Falmouth as one of the ten best shows in the country.
The fireworks are launched from a barge anchored in Vineyard Sound between Falmouth and Martha’s Vineyard. Not only are Falmouth’s own fireworks spectacular, on a clear night but you can also watch the fireworks on Oak Bluffs and Edgartown on Martha’s Vineyard while sitting on the beach in Falmouth.
Our Falmouth Bed and Breakfast visitors love to mingle with other town visitors and locals for the extravaganza. Still looking for a place to stay check out our B&B’s.
This year’s 2018 celebration will mark the 30th year that Atlas PyroVision Entertainment Group will produce the show and like the many years before this our local favorite artist, Karen Rinaldo, designed the T-shirts that are sold around town to cover he costs of the fireworks. The design that is featured is shown to the right.
Not only do folks have the fireworks to look forward to there will be live music starting at 5:30 at Falmouth Heights Ballfield. The festivities start at 5:30 with Rare Ould Times performing. This ensemble often performs at Grumpy’s Pub and Quarterdeck Restaurant and will perform Irish, country and other popular music. Starting at 7 pm fans of the popular TV show, American Idol, will have the chance to hear from a local favorite, Ayla Brown. Ayla is a country singer-songwriter who hails from Boston and is the daughter of Scott Brown (former Massachusetts senator) and Gail Huff (former Boston television new reporter). Ayla will perform two 45 minute sets during the evening.
The fireworks will start at 9:05 and the rousing colorful sights will be coordinated with music that will be simulcast on the Cape Cod Radio stations of PIXY 103 and Y101.
So grab your beach chair, your portable radio to tune into to the simulcast, and head to Falmouth Heights Beach to enjoy the show. If that’s too much for you with the crowds you will still have a great view of the fireworks from Surf Drive Beach or even Stony Beach in Woods Hole..
